One of my favorites… this is a Craig Barr hand forged damascus blade, all I did was the handle work. Craig hand forges all his blades by hand on a 300 lb fisher norris anvil with a 3 lb cross peen hammer. In other words a real handmade blade.. not ground like most of us do, “myself included’ but a real hand forged blade. The damascus used is made from 52100 and 15n20 and is a full tapered tang, heat treated to 58rc. knife is 8-1/8 inches with a 3-7/8 inch blade, 1 inch wide, 1/8 inch thick, I used some of the rarest wood I could find. It is Australian hairy oak or sometimes called fire oak, to show off the wood i made a set of custom bolsters with a custom pin and three custom copper pins in the handle and a brass lanyard with a mood bead and two 14kt gold beads. If this one doesn’t sell I will be putting in the “that’s mine” collection… so don't pass on a one of a kind knife. I did mark the blade with my MAB logo as the builder of this fine knife. I put a lot of time into every one of my knives from fitting and finish to the file work, so every knife can be a collectors piece or a working knife, this is your chance to own a real quality handmade knife. The knife will come with the custom leather sheath made by Carl Thomas to fit your knife nice and snug.
