This is another custom MAB Spear Point Camp Knife made from D2 steel billet by me, Mark Buzzell (MAB), right here in Maine. This custom knife is 10-1/8 inches overall with a 5-3/4 inch blade with false top grind 3/16 thick, 1-5/8 inch wide with a 5-1/4″ inch cutting edge. The blade has a 58 rockwell hardness. The blade has been hand sanded to 2000 grit and then polished to a mirror finish. The handle is made from some very nice aged India stag The knife is a rat tang construction with a corby nut in the pommel so it will hold up in the field. all the spacers and guard along with the pommel are made from flat bar and sheet stock brass, aluminum and Nickle and shaped to the handle by hand for a perfect fit, I also hand filed the top of the knife blade with my new “Triple Threat” pattern and the pommel spacer in my “Sharp Thorn” pattern. All my file work is done by hand with a chainsaw file and a small triangle file, not with a dremel like some builders call file worked, knife is stamped with my MAB logo as the maker of this fine custom knife. Your knife will come with the custom leather sheath made by Carl Thomas of Mississippi to fit your custom knife nice and snug, and it will also ship in a zip up knife case for storing your custom knife when it’s not in use. All my custom knives come with a hand signed COA and DVD telling more about the knife, when it was made time spent and so on. This one of a kind should last a good many lifetimes and would make a great knife for the hunter that should have the very best.
