This beaver tail skinner has a dark random wave damascus blade, on the handle of this one I used a piece of arazona desert iron wood and in the front of the wood i used some recon tortoise shell stone to match the iron wood with some brass and some black spacers by the brass guard and pommel area as well. This one just melts in your hand with it’s fit and finish. The knife is 7-3/4 inches overall with a 3-3/8 inch blade to the guard making for a 2-7/8 inch cutting edge, Blade is 3/16 thick and just under 1 inch wide. This knife was made from a bar stock 400 plus fold random wave pattern damascus billet. The knife billet was shaped, ground, polished, oil quenced hardened and tempered to rockwell 57 to 58, then acid etched to help bring out the damascus pattern, Then gun blued and given one final polish. Knife is a rat tang construction with a corby nut in the end so it will hold up if you decide to give it some use in the field. And i’m sure this would make one heck of a skinning knife. The custom sheath was made by Carl Thomas of Mississippi. Your knife will come with a hand signed coa telling more about the knife and a dvd showing you around the shop. Knife will ship in a custom zip up storage case also. Shipping is $6.00 for priority shipping with insurance and signature conformation. SORRY NO INTERNATIONAL SALES
